VAIL BEAVER CREEK RESTAURANT WEEK

At a time of year when summer is winding down, the fall scenery is beckoning and the staff normally takes a deep breath, Chef David Gutowski steps up his game to show his culinary finesse during Restaurant Week.  Nothing strikes dread in the heart of the restaurant world more than this week when guests are looking for a deal and their expectations are still just as high as when paying full price.  Chef keeps his menu standards high, unwilling to take the easy way out.  His “Tasting of Colorado Chicken” uses the whole bird- roasted breast, truffle studded crispy boneless thigh, chicken liver mousse, chicken jus, served up with local vegetables.  His ever popular Ritz Cracker Crusted Walleye with local tomato salad and hand cut fries is also available.  Far from dreading it, we feel it is an opportunity to embrace our community and our locals.  It makes us happy that they are enjoying an evening out with one another with approachable prices that allow them (and all of us) to experience what our tourists do on a regular basis.  So, bring it on!  Your taste buds will thank you.
